Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the west in a wonderful game for beginning level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the dealer, unlike most other poker games that players wager against other players. By wagering against the dealer, new players don’t need to worry about other, more experienced individuals taking their money.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, rookies should be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make quick selections.
It’s also much simpler to participate in for a very long time with only a small bit of money since, to lose, both of your hands needs to be under each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the casino receives seven cards face down.
One five card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the dealer’s.
