Online poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with 21 than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier announcing "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course all of the different players attain five cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you need to either make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s value is akin to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes directly to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with a figure on par with the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays out chips even with your wager and controlled expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
